How to make "Roland – R&B" drum pattern?
Step 1: Place bass drum on beats 1, 8, 10, 11, 14, 16.
Step 2: Place snare drum on beats 5, 13 (backbeat).
Step 3: Place closed hi-hat on beats 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 (eighth notes offset by one beat).
Step 4: Place open hi-hat on beats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 (sixteenth notes).
Step 5: Place low conga on beat 7.
Step 6: Place high conga on beats 2, 8, 15, 16.
Step 7: Place cymbal on beat 1 (downbeat).
