Step 1: Place bass drum on beats 1, 5, 9, 13 (quarter notes).
Step 2: Place snare drum on beat 16.
Step 3: Place closed hi-hat on beats 3, 7, 11, 15 (eighth notes on the 'and' of each beat).
Step 4: Place maraca on beats 3, 7, 11, 15, 16.
Step 5: Place clave on beats 7, 15.
Step 6: Place high conga on beat 1 (downbeat).
