How to make "Kasso – Key West" drum pattern?
Step 1: Place bass drum on beats 1, 2, 9.
Step 2: Place snare drum on beats 5, 13 (backbeat).
Step 3: Place closed hi-hat on beats 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 (eighth notes).
Step 4: Place open hi-hat on beats 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 (eighth notes offset by one beat).
Step 5: Place mid conga on beats 1, 2, 7, 9, 10.
Step 6: Place high conga on beats 13, 14.
Step 7: Place clave on beats 2, 3, 4.
Step 8: Place maraca on beats 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13.
Step 9: Place cowbell on beats 1, 4.
Step 10: Place cymbal on beats 1, 5, 9, 13 (quarter notes).
