How to make "Afro-Cuban 8" drum pattern?
Step 1: Place bass drum on beats 1, 9 (downbeats).
Step 2: Place closed hi-hat on beats 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 (eighth notes).
Step 3: Place cymbal on beats 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15.
Step 4: Place rimshot on beat 7.
Step 5: Place mid tom on beat 11.
Step 6: Place low tom on beat 15.
